asked questions:
Q: Why do you spell the word blü like that as opposed to blue?
A: It's an expression of our profound belief in minimalism, the "lack of" creates the "gain of". Well, actually, we just kinda think ümlaüts are cool.
Q: Come on, will everything in the room actually be blü?
A: It's true, it's true... it will be blü. And with any luck, you will be too. We will be the "who" who maximize blü with blü clothing and paint for those who do too. Will you?
Q: What should I do right now?
A: a.) paint something blü, b.) write your mother a letter, c.) order tickets to the Burning Man Festival if you haven't already, or d.) draw a picture of your cat
Q: Why blü? What's wrong with colors such as emerald, maroon, or maybe even crimson?
A: The concept for the room began more out of an interest in creating an unusual experience with simple elements than an infatuation with the color blü. It wasn't until later that we realized the enormous potential for sequels if this product performs well in the marketplace. Plans for the Periwinkle Room are already in the initial stages for
Burning Man 2000.
Q: What about the risk of just too much blü?
A: Ah...we understand your fears. Not everyone can be blessed with the
bold sense of trailblazing that we possess. Why live your life
running? Stand up and face the blüs.
Q: Don't you think you guys are taking this blü thing a little too serious? I mean, aren't there better ways to spend you time and hard-earned money?
A: Probably. No.
